Small Plot Inc specializes in replicated plots, demo plots and small scale custom combining.  Our main research site is east of Vulcan, AB.  Our coverage area is from South of Lethbridge, to North of Strathmore.

Our main Vulcan site is in the brown soil zone with typical pH of 7 to 8 and OM of 3%.  Our team has over 18 years of combined experience in small plot research.  Our capabilities include RCBD of Wheat, Barley, Oats, Canola, Lentils, Chickpeas, Peas, Soybeans and Corn to name a few.  Plot types we have experience in include fertility (liquid, granular and/or foliar), tolerance, inoculant, efficacy, fungicide, insecticide, burn down and demo.  We have all the equipment for the plots including no till drill (set up with c-shanks, side band opener, liquid kit), sprayers and hand booms.  At harvest our plot Combine captures total plot weights, moisture content and test weight.  All data for final reports is analyzed using Ag Research Manager software.
